Zero Gravity Levels Up Fun (and Revenue) with Pixel Games
We recently chatted with Ed Golebiowski from Zero Gravity, a fantastic family entertainment center that’s been home to a Pixel Games Floor for almost a year now. Ed has some great insights into how our interactive floor has impacted his business and his customers’ experience.
While Zero Gravity doesn’t charge per play for their Pixel Games Floor, they’ve seen a significant positive impact on their overall admissions. Let’s dive into what Ed had to say!
How has the Pixel Games Floor impacted your ROI at Zero Gravity?
Ed: “…We were able to increase our overall admissions because we made it a free-play add-on. …Our overall revenue is up because our admissions are up. More importantly, it’s a value-add for our facility.”
You mentioned “value-add.” What makes the Pixel Games Floor a unique value proposition for your customers?
Ed: “The other places around us don’t have anything like it. So, it gives our customers a brand new interactive experience that they can’t get at my competitors down the road. It really sets us apart.”
It sounds like it gets a lot of use! How has the durability of the Pixel Games Floor held up with all that play?
Ed: “We’re approaching our one-year anniversary now, and we’ve only had one tile go out. So, it’s been very durable, especially with the amount of play it gets…it’s a ridiculous number because it’s free play!”
Can you describe a typical busy day with the Pixel Games Floor in action?
Ed: “On a Saturday, we open at 10 AM and close at 9 PM. I can hear that thing dinging all the way from the counter! It’s constantly in use.”
Beyond general admission, how else has the Pixel Games Floor added value to your business?
Ed: “It’s an added value now for field trips. It’s an added value for our school parties at night, our fundraising events. And every birthday package gets it! It’s really worked out.”
If you had to rate your satisfaction with the Pixel Games Floor, what would it be?
Ed: “I would do it 11 out of 10 times over again, without a doubt. It’s a no-brainer.”
You mentioned considering other interactive floor options before choosing Pixel Games. What ultimately convinced you to go with us?
Ed: “I was in contact with the Chinese manufacturers, and they sent me over one of theirs. The user interface on those wasn’t that great. It wasn’t just that; the customer interface wasn’t intuitive. For Pixel Games, the UI was amazing, and as I mentioned, the warranty was best-in-class. It’s hard for operators, especially in my market, to find something that offers both.”
As Ed from Zero Gravity clearly demonstrates, a Pixel Games Floor isn’t just about fun – it’s a strategic investment that can boost admissions, enhance customer experience, and provide lasting value. Ready to see how Pixel Games can transform your facility and excite your customers?
